I’m an Engineer – you’ve decided to let AL go

We’ve counted, checked and rechecked the votes since yesterday and now it’s game over for… AL This leaves just EMMA, JAMES and OMAR to fight it out for the £500 prize tomorrow. What would they do with the money, you ask? Omar says “I have two ideas- Make a short interactive film (like a build your own adventure) with an engineering theme or a design competition where the best team will be able to make their ideas into a reality” and James says “I think we need a new generation of British computer programmers and game developers” and Emma says “They say every engineer was inspired by another engineer….”. It was a really close one in Transport. The result is… A DRAW! This means that tomorrow there will be two evictions! In just 24 hours time the final 3 Transport Zone engineers will be revealed to battle it out in the final. Who gets through to the final for a chance to win £500? YOU decide! The last 3 engineers have it all to play for and they’re fighting for YOUR vote. I’m an Engineer – 1st out is… Ivanka

It’s been a fantastic event so far and the engineers have worked hard, answering thousands of questions between them. But on Friday there can only be one winner in each zone, so some of them have to go. We are sorry to have to do this to you, but the first engineer to be evicted is… IVANKA Thanks so much for all you’ve done. We hope you’ve enjoyed taking part. There will be evictions every day for the rest of the week, with the winner announced on Friday. Keep voting students! Vote now to save your favourite engineer!

On Tuesday the engineer with the fewest votes will be evicted out of Transport Zone.   YOU decide who goes… Will it be: ‘happy, enthusiastic, optimistic’ Omar ‘inquisitive, sociable, energetic’ James, ‘friendly, helpful, lively’ Ivanka, ‘hard-working, energetic, firm’ Emma ‘inquisitive, happy, busy’ Al   After Tuesday’s eviction, you can vote again each day for the evictions on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.   Next Friday the surviving engineer will be declared the Transport Zone winner and win the £500 prize!

Here are some of our favourite student questions in Transport Zone so far: “What type of special feature does your plane have?“ “Does your job allow you to trval the world and how does your software work to program unmaned aircrafts?“ “What tools do you use for your work?“ “How do you deal with political issues on weaponary in work areas such as the Middle East?
