I didn’t go to school in the UK – I grew up in New Zealand…. however I did the equivalent at High School in NZ.

GSCE level I did: English, Maths, Physics, General Science, Geography, History

A Level Equivalent I did: English, Maths, Chemistry, Physics, Geography

I’m not sure exactly how the school system works here, so I can’t give you any more advice than that really. The best thing is to find what you enjoy, and don’t narrow your subjects down too early….You’ll never go wrong with English, Maths and a science….. it’s also not a bad idea to do a social science (it’ll make you a well rounded person!)

To further confuse things I went to secondary school in Scotland so I didn’t do GCSE’s or A-Levels either!

It’s a bit difficult to compare but I got Highers (similar to AS-Levels) in Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computing and Advanced Highers (similar to A-Levels) in Maths and Physics.
