  We certainly do – probably the biggest impact the budget cuts had on my ship was a change in our programme last year when 4 ships were decomissioned. We came back from 6 months away, and 8 months later we went away for another 6 months (that is going to work for a year in an 18 month period!)
  
  Ships are spending longer away and are going away more often than they have done before because we still have just as many important jobs to around the world.
