I wouldn’t say it was my life long ambition, however I think I was interested in how things worked when I was growing up. I used to steal my Dad’s screwdrivers from his workshop and take my toys apart just to see what was inside them!

I really enjoyed Science at school and when I got to high school I decided to take Physics and General Science as those were the subjects I enjoyed the most.
I think I realised I wanted to be an engineer of some sort when I was about 14 (I also considered Computer Science) but was sold on becomming an engineer when I read about the robotics part of my course! I though that playing with robots sounded like more fun than programming computers!
