      Hello Mountainous,

The biggest project I have ever been involved with has to have been a few years ago when we scrapped some VC10 passenger aircraft for the RAF. We first removed the engines (4 of them) then all of the valuable parts inside such as the computers, seats…..evn the toilets!! Once the aircraft was just a bare shell, we cutt off the wings! then the wheels and under-carriage until the body of the aircraft was left, this was then cut in to pieces that could fit on the back of a large truck.

It was a great project and great fun too.

I’m just about to start it! My ship is going into dry dock to be refitted in about 3 weeks time. That involved taking EVERYTHING off and making sure the ship is stable when we remove the water from under it….. it is quite a process!
